- Brian Broughton of Edson.
Brian retired in 2001 after 31 years as a Social Worker with Social Services and Children's Services. He has served as a trustee for the Grande Yellowhead School Board and was a member of the Edson Health Council and the Westview Regional Mental Health Advisory Council. Brian has a degree in social work from the University of Calgary.

- Audrey Franklin of Ardmore.
Audrey has a Bachelor of Social Work and has worked extensively in Aboriginal communities and organizations in the Region as a support worker, volunteer and Aboriginal healer. She has spent the past two decades working with the people of the Fishing Lake Settlement.

- Sandra Youngchief of Kehewin.
Sandra Youngchief lives in Frog Lake First Nations and is Métis. She is the Supervisor of Maternal Child Health and Aboriginal Head Start in both Kehewin and Frog Lake. Sandra is married and has one foster daughter and three step children ages 11-18. Sandra enjoys teaching hoop dancing and pow wow dancing. Sandra loves riding her horse Stormy and spending time with her family.
Sandra has a social work degree and is a registered social worker. Sandra served on the Region 5, Child and Family Services Authority Board in the past and comes to Region 7 willing to try new things and to be an advocate for children, youth and families.

- Florence Gladue of Slave Lake.
Florence has worked in many areas such as social work, teaching life skills and banking.Florence has received numerous awards including the Alberta Centennial Medal for her work with youth. She has also won Kookum of the Year in Slave Lake two years in a row. But her greatest achievement is her family of four children, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Wendy Huggan of Slave Lake.
Wendy works as Coordinator of the Victim Service Unit for the Lesser Slave Lake Indian Regional Council Lakeshore First Nation Police Service. The unit provides services to Driftpile First Nation, Kapawe'no First Nation, Sawridge Band, Sucker Creek First Nation and Swan River First Nation.

Robert (Bob) Lee of Barrhead.
Bob is a former board member of the Aspen Regional Health Authority and past president of the Kinsmen Community Organization and Barrhead Chamber of Commerce. Bob also served on Town Council and has extensive experience serving on municipal and recreation boards.

Policy Committee - Candice Maglione of Ashmont.
Candice is a proud Metis woman and resident of Ashmont who has family in both the Buffalo Lake and Fishing Lake Metis Settlements. Candice previously served on the Board of Governors for Region 4, Central Alberta Child and Family Services Authority.

- Claudette Sheremata of Athabasca.
Claudette is semi-retired, she volunteers in her community in her spare time. Claudette's past experience includes working as a support worker in for children and families in Calling Lake, Boyle and Athabasca. Claudette previously served on Boards for AADAC and FCSS, the Appeal Board for Aish, Alberta Works and Aids to Daily Living. In addition, Claudette has been a Returning Officer for three elections in her constituency.

- Penny Vasseur of Bonnyville
Penny has been a resident of Northern Alberta for over 25 years. She has spent many years volunteering and working on community initiatives in different capacities, including the Aboriginal Head Start program where she worked as Program Director and later served on the Parent Advisory Committee. Penny has also served the local Chamber of Commerce, the Municipal District Libraries Board and as a volunteer Board Development Instructor for Alberta Community Development. Currently, Penny works with as a counsellor with at-risk youth in the school system.

- Irene Zarowny of St. Paul.
Irene has a degree in Family Studies and extensive experience working with youth as an addictions counsellor. Presently, Irene serves as a Board Member for the St. Paul and Distirct Boys and Girls Club and the Rising Stars Day Care Centre.
